project description

nestled in one of the world’s most ancient cities and in the heart of the mediterranean, this spot used to be a horse stable and is now classified as a historical building

in a very thorough design process, the space has undergone renovation while preserving its original identity, and keeping its structure intact.

the mechanical and electrical intervention did not interfere with the existing structure

on the upper floor, five bedrooms are flooded with light. each bedroom is designed to optimise fluid movement and comfort.

characterized by an old fountain in the middle, the black and white zigzag tiling gives a bit of contrast to the antiquity of the space without compromising its identity
